Hi everyone,

My son is helping me write this post as I'm...challenged...when it comes to computer problems.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop running Vista that I bought two years ago and have had no problems with so far. *fingers crossed*

Yesterday, Vaio Care came up (which normally causes me no headaches) and in addition to defragging, it installed several updates.

Ever since then, my page coding in Firefox has been messed up. Page graphics are not loading. (All I see at the top of the City Data forum is a black bar) and Google auto search is not working. When I go to Yahoo, for example, it's just one long column of words.

Please tell me I just need to go in and unclick a box somewhere. Seriously, anyone know what might have happened and how to fix it?

Thank you.

Nevermind! Fixed. Was a Firefox issue.

Mods, I don't know how to delete the post. Please do so.

Thank you.

Hi, Same thing just happened to me. I finally allowed a Vaio Update last night - afterward any page that comes up in Firefox is not correctly formatted. Everything is in list form on the left and links don't work.

Dear PeppermintChapstick, what was the Firefox issue that fixed this problem for you? I have done several things. I restored my system to before the update and I also re-installed/upgraded to Firefox 9.0 and the problem is still there. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Nevermind, I found the answer from another post - Firefox help. To fix this I went to Firefox Tools, selected Clear Recent History, unchecked every box except kept the option 'Cache' checked, then hit Clear Now. My Firefox is working normally again. Might need to repeat this if I run Vaio Care again.
