Is it crazy to be bothered by the fact that my co-worker always says alt+ctrl+delete instead of ctrl+alt+delete? Have never heard anyone else say it this way.

I don't see what's wrong with it. If you're using one hand to do it, the keys from left to right are Alt then Ctrl then Del.

I try not to let it, but yeah, stuff like this does kind of get to me sometimes. This morning someone told me they wanted me to move their CPU from the desk to the floor behind said desk. Now, obviously she meant computer and not just the processor, but I felt perky this morning... I told her that I would do that, but it wouldn't serve much use outside it's natural environment.....she looked at me like I was nuts LOL

I love it when I tell people to use the backslash (\) and they use the forward slash (/) instead.

I have come to just saying "the slash above your enter key" or "where the question mark button is" lol

pound foot (torque) and foot pound (energy) are different units

you can cleave something together and you can cleave something apart; "cleave" is a unique word in that sense because it has opposite meanings.

CNTRL-ALT-DELETE is probably written that way because the keys are placed on the keyboard from left to right that way.

HA, I thought it was just me who has a problem with that. I usually have to say "the one near the enter key" as well.

It doesn't help my original issue that my coworker does a hundred other things that drive me up a wall as well. Says yes when he means no, uses phrases like "you know" constantly, lots of personal calls, etc.

Or when you see/hear it in official marketing material or hold messages: "Visit our website at h, t, t, p, colon, backslash, backslash..."
