My wireless mouse keeps scrolling down a page, constantly, even though I'm not scrolling down. Just changed batteries to brand new and still the same prob.

So I just tried another wireless mouse (same port) and there is no issue.
Any suggestions how I can fix the problem mouse? its only a few months old.

You do realize that the transceiver for the wireless mouse has to be plugged into a USB port? If not you probably shouldn't be here.

To give him the benefit of the doubt, not all wireless mice have a dongle.

But given that the OP stated he used the same port it's obvious this one does.

Ummm you have lost me and of course I realise that

Managed to fix the problem anyway, took the mouse apart, whatever I did, did the trick.

Thanks for the feedback.

Probably had something sticking and you loosened it when you took it apart.
