I hope this is the right place for this. I'm looking for a relatively cheap program for Mac that will let me create writable PDFs.

Does anyone know of any?

How cheap ???

Adobe - $200.00 -- http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html
Nitro PDF - $100.00 -- http://www.nitropdf.com/
PDF Creator $50.00 -- http://pdfpro10.com/o/creator/LP/V3/?gclid=CK2FidXjo6wCFUcaQgodimmTDQ (broken link)

Just a few examples. Google for them and you get umpteen resources.
None of them *cheap* ...

I use PDFXchange - $45.00 (at home)
http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-tools#pricing
They stress *try before you buy* !!!
At work, we have Adobe and I do not like it.
