Default Adobe Flash Player Up Grade

About a month ago I started getting a message that I needed to Up Grade Adobe Flash Player...

I have tried to several times but at the end of loading it tells me that they no longer support Power PC's..... I can no longer play YouTube videos...

This is on two different Mac's......Other than this new problem the computers work fine....

Can anyone help me get around this, other than buying a new Mac...I miss the music on YouTube.....

Thanks for your help.....

Go to oldversion.com and see if they have an older version of the player. If so, delete yours and load the old version. It should work.

I don't mean to take this thread on a tangent, but does anyone know why Flash has needed to be updated so much the past six months or so? It seems like at least once a month this happens, sometimes twice a month!

Because Flash is targeted by virus/malware creators. They have to update to keep up security.

Exactly, version 10.x had quite a few security holes (and still is the case).
Instead of creating patches, they must have figured "let's take care of all the security holes and also a few reported bugs and push out version 11".

Question to OP, what web browser are you using and what version is it?
I used to and still do spend quite a bit of time fixing "broken Flash Player" issue at work with users on Internet Explorer. Firefox never seems to have any issues though.

If it was well-designed in the first place, the updates wouldn't be required.

Geez, the same could be said for OS X, Windows (all flavors), Linux (all flavors) and mainframe OS's ...

That's not true at all. You clearly have no idea what it takes to build and implement a program, much less one on multiple platforms and in multiple platforms within those platforms.
