In Firefox I clicked on Tools then Add-ons and in the field that says search all add-ons I typed in "check email" and hit the return key.

I am running Firefox 9.0.1 on a Macbook Pro.

Just upgraded to 10, no problems, all my extensions work.

Definitely snappier in the performance area.

I dunno why but I always prefer not to let FF update automatically. I typically download the new version separately.
Then uninstall the old version first, then install the new version, never any issues other than getting used to the initial look/configuration of the new version.
