I've been having a crack hard time trying to find a good free movie-watching website and then I realized today maybe it's because I'm using a Mac? I asked guys at school who tell me about sites and then I search them at home and they don't work properly or say I need some Plug-in, etc. etc. or blah-blah-blah. I just checked on my family's PC computer for the same kind of sites for movie streaming and it was a hell of alot easier and I found good quality movies so quickly.

So is it because I'm using a Mac? I think so and I might consider trading. In the meantime, can any of you guys list me the best free movie-streaming sites?

I don't know why your PC streams better. Maybe it has something to do with your browser. Try running a different browser on your Mac and see if it works better for you.

Sorry, I don't know any movie streaming sites.

You'd need the plugins anyways on a PC (usually flash or silverlight) - most likely they've been installed on the PC by something or someone.

What browser are you running? Google chrome comes with flash preinstalled and is fast.... Sounds more like browser / plugin issues rather than operating system related.

As for free sites, try

Fancast.com
Hulu.com
Netflix.com ($8 monthly subscription but an immense library)
YouTube.com (some movies on there)
Charter.net (if you're with charter)

I think most Internet service providers probably have a portal you can go to for movies.

Feel free to DM if you need help .

Let's try to get to the bottom of the issue. Which sites are you trying to get to? Which web browser are you using on your Mac? Do you know whether you have flash and/or silverlight installed?

Streaming torrents isn't quite there yet.... unless there's a solution that I don't know about.
