cannot use roxio cd creator am getting notice that suddenly my cd driver D is corrupted or using a format unreadable to windows---was trying to make a music cd copy of a long owned kid's party cd when this happened-------two folders popped up one said code other said resources----then the browser switched to internet explorer by itself(was on firefox) and instead of the music lists all i got was some stupid shamrock game(the kid cd had only irish music on it to my knowledge as i have played it in the past

when i go to MY COMPUTER IT SHOWS---CDDRIVER E, CD DRIVE D,LOCAL DISK C,31/2FLOPPY A,SHARED DOCUMENTS-----WHEN I CLICK ON DRIVER D--I GET THE ABOVE MESSAGE-bout the corruption or format????

WHEN I CLICK ON LOCAL DISC C IT SHOWS THAT SEVERAL THINGS WERE ACCESSED AT THE SAME TIME THIS HAPPENED--I MADE A LIST

2 THINGS WERE MODIFIED---THE PROGRAMS FILE FOLDER AND SOMETHING CALLED DEVICETABLE.LOG--NO DATES OR LISTINGS FOR ANYTHING CREATED----
ALL THIS HAPPENED WHEN I INSERTED A BLANK CD AND A BOUGHT CD INTO MY ROXIO PROGRAM----AM SO LOST--WHAT DO I DO NEXT---this is all greek to me----dtr is too busy and crabby to ask---help---need advice

This is what popped out at me. Sounds like malware or some such.

Download and run Malwarebytes. Click on download. Let it check for updates when it starts. Reboot and try again. If it still isn't working let us know. If it is working let us know.

wow thank you so much for this----my daughter never knew about this an d this cd was purchased about 2004 or 2005 and is a sony product---my dtr promised with the help of a friend to fix this so this old comp can go back to functioning normally---this thing has even made my attached printer act oddly
