In the last 14 years I’ve unleashed the fury on a few printers, a mouse and two keyboards.

I've never actually broken anything that wasn't already destined for the trash, but I've sure wanted to. I think the last thing I took a hammer to was my old POS Motorola Q cell phone that constantly locked up, rebooted, etc. The first day I could upgrade without paying full price for the phone, I took it out back and smashed the s**t out of it.

I have a few broken keyboards that indicate yes.

I remember as a kid we'd go through so many video game controllers because we'd be constantly throwing them around in disgust. You'd be just about clear a level...one you've been working on for a week or so...and boom, the game would freeze. And the controller would go flying across the room accompanied by shrieks, and yes, the occasional tears.Good times lol

I've daydreamed about doing all sorts of violent things to some of my electronics, sometimes in nice satisfying slow motion.

I don't think I've actually done anything, though. I impaled my hand on the box spring of a bunk bed once in college, and that taught me that violent displays of temper could have serious consequences. So I've been pretty good about it the past 30 years or so.

Back in the mid-80's in Hawaii, I kept losing my connection with a 1200 Baud modem. I finally had enough and threw it on the floor. I then bought a better modem and it did the same thing. It ended up that our phone substation was having some problems and it took a lot of convincing to get it fixed.

I've had a lot of electronics that made me cry.

Since my career was in electronics/computers, I made lots of money because they made others cry.
