I'd rather keep it simple. Maijka1666Thijse

So what you are saying is the people in the company you work for are so unprofessional that they put religion over business?

Or are you saying if someone has a password like you mention they try to convert/preach to you whenever you must lower yourself to talk to them?

I do use non-ascii in the midst and uc lc combos as well. Easy for me to remember, but virtually impossible for anyone else to figure out.

The carat is the shifted 6 (f is the sixth letter). # starts numbers. + is the last shifted character in the top row so it's the last character in the PW.

I've been known to use a bastardized version of the name of my monitor.
The problem becomes is using the same password in multiple places, for example you use that password here. City data gets hacked and they obtain your email address and password, now they can try your email account using that password.

Why would I use the same password on multiple accounts? Makes no sense...

I've had them shove pamphlets on me and wouldn't stop until I took it. I couldn't say what wanted to because I was a consultant and word that I was Satan incarnate would get spread around. I'm serious. I saw it happen to someone else and they got fired - all because they refused to take a pamphlet and finally got upset enough to be somewhat rude about it.

Being preached to continuously while fixing a computer was not unusual.

That's just two of the irrational religious BS things I had to put up with in one of the places I was sent to consult. All the newbies got stuck there until another newbie came along. Then you got sent to somewhere other than Hell. The consulting firm figured that if you could hack it at that company you could work anywhere they sent you.

So, yeah to both. They were placing religion over business, and I always feel I am lowering myself when I have to put up with that crap. Ever notice my reaction to religious BS in the Science forum?

You may not, but I'd say at least 80% of the general public uses the same simple password for everything.

Yeah, I forgot. And it's usually their children's names or birthdays.

We had one person who was like you described....

A protest with HR concerning religious recruiting in the office stopped it....

My reaction is the same as yours..... (especially when it comes to the people at work who end their emails with "have a blessed day")

How could you possibly remember those types of passwords on multiple accounts?

I don't. I use software on my PC to remember them. I think if you look through some of the earlier posts you will see mention of a couple of programs others use. All I do is create them, and you can also have the software create them for you.
