Default color laser printers for small business/home use?

I've been researching color laser printers for a new small business and home use and I'd like to hear from any of you who have purchased one, what you thought of it. A few years ago when I got my first multifunction laser printer, I was very pleased with the performance compared to the color inkjets I had owned... much faster printing, looked great (of course only B/W... but I felt like I could live with that at the time), and I never had breakdowns or other issues. I definitely need to replace it though as it only has a parallel port connection and my new computers will need something better/newer. I like the idea of having a color printer but are today's personal or small business color laser printers worth the cost, and also are they reliable?

I have an HP 7410. It's inkjet - not laser - but I think it's pretty kicka$$.

It's WIRELESS which I LOVE and you can also do doub-sided printing.

I dont' know what kind of business you own but if you need a color laser printer then invest in one! I would probably go with HP b'c all the offices I've ever worked in had HP printers. I guess it's just a preference. Good luck!

We have a HP Officejet Pro K550. It's a couple of years old now and has been a GREAT small office color printer workhorse. We also have a B&W as well so that we don't use up all the color. Not sure what the new generation of the same printer is now. But like the previous poster mentioned, HP printers are good for the small home office. Another good choice is Brother, which is what our B&W is. Liz

Samsung clp500 series. I have had for 5 years, no replacement. No breakdown and it has duplex, overlay printing. Whatelse would a Soho business owner want.

I use the HP Officejet 5610 all in one. Fax, Scanner and Printer and its pretty good quality for the price too. Id have no trouble reccomending it to anyone.

I ha the HP 2840 All In One and couldn't be happier. Do a lot of printing for the non-profit I'm involved with. Service is great and getting supplies is easy from HP.

I've been using the OKI Color Lasers. Loved it and recommended to several clients. But they keep obsoleting models with newer ones
