My WPA2 password is a string of 63 random upper and lower case letter and numbers. If someone stops by the house, I copy the password to a text file and put it in a thumb drive. They can copy and paste it afterwards.

That's called WPS, and disabling it is one of the things on my list when configuring a new router. And MAC filtering is easily bypassed if you know how to do it.
They still have to get through my primary defense, a giant yard and Mollie my dog who is free to roam the property as she pleases.
At least with my Androids, I do it the same way I'd do it with a computer. Connect the phone to the PC via USB, transfer the text file with the password, open the file on the phone, copy and paste. It isn't much of a hassle taking into account that I only have to do this once, pretty much for the lifetime of the phone.
