My WPA2 password is a string of 63 random upper and lower case letter and numbers. If someone stops by the house, I copy the password to a text file and put it in a thumb drive. They can copy and paste it afterwards.

I also have WPS disabled on my router.

If a person has a "phone" that is useable for internet they can use their own connection.

I think it's safe to assume he meant entering it on a smart phone to get wifi access

At least with my Androids, I do it the same way I'd do it with a computer. Connect the phone to the PC via USB, transfer the text file with the password, open the file on the phone, copy and paste. It isn't much of a hassle taking into account that I only have to do this once, pretty much for the lifetime of the phone.
