It can't just be me !!!

My family all loves apple ..phones,macbooks, ipods, ipads ..
I am talking about a very large extended family..friends too..

So we have identical chargers, earbuds, car chargers all over the place ..I finally wrapped
a colored small piece of tape on my chargers so I knew which were mine..

Until apple starts with colors how do people keep cords identified..

Except for the macbooks, all my Apple devices use the same power cables. I use the same DC adapter for my Apple, Samsung and Motorola devices.

Over at Home Depot and Lowe's one can find a small plastic box full of miniature colored electrical tape (around 6 different colors). But a label maker works extremely well, specially the AA cell-powered ones.

Doesn't the label maker spit out stiff labels??
How would that wrap around a small cord??

The tape mentioned above would be perfect for placing around the cable. Some labels are quite stiff, but some are paper thin (the electronic label makers use white color plastic and self-adhesive tape that's paper thin). However these would go better over the plug than the cable itself.

I would just use color-coded tape. These rolls are about 1/4" wide, and the tape is very thin. This type of tape is used to ID (color code) wire harnesses or electrical leads, and would be perfect for marking all your cables.

Before you buy a label maker, make sure that it uses the thin plastic tape, not the stiff plastic ones.

It actually was a Walgreens, near the check out. Sorry if you were inconvenienced..
(for some reason CVS and Walgreens are always across the street from each other. I don't really bother to notice the difference
