Yeah OK...... No need to make excuses for saying something you didn't understand in the first place...
That's why I'm not making excuses. You seem to be calling my opinion a conjecture. Do you even know what a conjecture is? It's basically a hypothesis. It's not far off from an opinion. You think you've changed my opinion? You haven't. For Windows 8 being a minor upgrade from Windows 7, it's doing well. You don't like my opinion, that's fine.

Lets keep this going, you started off boasting about what a success Windows 8 was and now you're down to "it's doing well".....
In 15 more posts you'll be saying "well, it's selling"

LMAO....
That is the basis of my opinion. Microsoft's sales numbers are high, and it's growing usage share on the web... having surpassed another popular OS for browsing the web.
Sooooo, what the **** do poor sales figures of Windows 8 have to do with Microsoft releasing a new OS every year again?
I was just responding to someone else's post who asked how I came to that opinion. You're the one who went on an entire tangent of sales figures. Maybe you should answer your own question.
As I stated in my original post, I'm interested to see what they do going forward. But I'll expand on that. Woz's comments about Microsoft and Windows 8 were interesting. I didn't think that Microsoft was at the top of their game. In fact, I still think Microsoft is putting out less than innovative stuff. But maybe there's something to it. And I'd rather find out sooner, more often, than wait 4 years at a time.
Also, I'm also interested to know how Microsoft is going to get IT departments to agree with faster upgrades. It's something that they're going to have to plan for as they get Windows 8 out there.
