Hey expert techie friends, top of the morning to you!

What do ya think about this combo...

running teatimer (spybot real time checker) with a weekly spybot scan. Also using ClamWin?

Input appreciated and thanks in advance!

Shh.

Most people I hear say anything about malware protection mention Malwarebytes and/or SuperAntiSpyware. That being said, I've used Spybot, and still install it so I can use the immunize feature, but it is not nearly as popular as it once was.

I've never used ClamWin. I used to use AVG free AV, but now I have MSE on all my machines.

For the average user, bad choice. Clamwin does not have real time monitoring. Find a real time AV solution, and add Malwarebytes to your list (the free version is manual scan only).

I don't know what happened to Spybot, they kind of fell off the Earth.

For what it does, it's not a security app so not related to this discussion
