DDR4 SDRAM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crucial.com - Crucial DDR4 coming soon!

I'll probably build a new computer summer 2014 with it, + with Nividia's Maxwell GPU. I think intel will be Haswell by then too. 3 years is about time for a new computer upgrade!

This does sound like a big improvement in DRAM technology. As a multi-tasker that likes flipping and opening up many different web pages, I love RAM. The only problem is, like with the earlier releases, they are not compatible with each other. My motherboard is set up for DDR3, so it looks like this is an improvement that I will not be seeing anytime soon. However, thanks for sharing this development with us!

A RAM drive set up with 32GB or so of DDR4 should make a noticeable difference as temp storage in video editing. I’m anxious to give it a try. Is there word yet on new motherboards to support it?

I applied for a recent Mech Eng / Eng Assistant job but I said I was only able to work 28 hrs due to school. Said I would work PT for $22 /hr but they didn't call me.

So far I don't see DDR4 being sold yet.

If I were you, I'd definitely make "finding a job" the top priority. Also, if I may, never ever discuss money or what you want unless they ask you first and even then, learn to say something like "I would consider any offer that concurs with today's market pay for this position". This way you neither sound desperate and/or settle for less that what they might actually be willing to pay nor, on the flip side, unknowingly demand even a little much and force them to offer the position to someone they might not have liked as much as you perhaps. I think you are getting social security or financial help from family that is why you are -seemingly- goofing around.

Believe me, even some of my friends have done the same, they were smart educated and experienced and if they wanted, they could have found a job with couple of months tops. Maybe it wouldn't have been a great one but it would have been a start. Instead they took their time and decrease their chances by each passing month just because they had SS income.

Both times I lost my job, I didn't even apply for SS. Spending my own savings sucked but it also help me look for a job aggressively and find one, eventually.

One last thing, never wait for the prospective employer to call you or even remember you. If they do not call you by the noon of the day they said they would call you make sure to call back after 1pm that day. Keep calling till you talk to someone and show you're genuinely interested.

Anyhow, good luck!
