3.1: Ok
95: Sucked
98: Ok
ME/2000: sucked
XP: Ok
Vista: Sucked (OK after service packs)
7: Ok
8: Sucks (the worst yet)
9 Will probably be 'ok', but most people will probably carry on using 7 for the next decade.
I know that this is just your opinion but it's extremely odd to say that 2000 sucked but XP was ok. That's the first time I've heard someone claim that. XP was hardly an upgrade on 2000 and added quite a bit of bloat.
7 is slightly refined Vista. Vista (like 7) wasn't bad at all, it just had a bad launch.
Too early to tell for 8.
Windows ME is the only WTF release out of the ones on your list.

Anyways, back to the topic...
Hmm tbh I never used 2000, just ME. Wasn't 2000 just the 'pro' version of ME?
I am happy to have 98, XT or 7 on any computer. All of the others have given me problems with crashes, incompatability, and other things. However I have not used 8. In fact, it is unlikely i ever will.

98 was junk. I could crash it by opening the Printers folder. XP was great in its day but that day has passed. Its really showing its age. Win7 is great. That's what I'm sticking with.
Be glad you all didn't buy an overpriced computer from a family member that is ONLY configured for ME and CANNOT be changed
Why is that the case? You can't boot with another OS's installation disk?
