Hi,
I'm taking some IT training courses online at another site and would like to know if it is possible to capture some of the video training so that i can refer back to...i can't remember all the information during my training and most likely need to go back again and watch them to digest all that info...problem is that the training site has a deadline after the online class, thus it won't last long,so i can't just logon to the site forever to keep watching the videos all the time. Any recommendations on software that can capture or download some video? Thanks.

You can use something like Open Broadcaster or Screenr.com or maybe fraps if you can get it to recognize the window you're trying to record.

However, there may be legal implications but if it's sole use is personal I can't see any issue with it.

Open Broadcaster (OBS) is my favorite by far, and free.

I use the Google Extension FVD Video Downloader to download any video that can appear in my Chrome browser. It's FREE!

The best video capture software I have found to use now is NCH Debut Video Capture Software Pro.

Website - Video Capture Software. Video, Webcam or Screen Recorder

I didn't see what OS you have. I'm not sure if it's OS specific or not, but on my MAC, I use QUicktime to create videos. It is already installed, and doesn't require much to make it work. From Quicktime Player, choose File, then New Screen Recording.

Come to think of it, this may/may not work for you. I'm not 100% sure if that captures video or not. I have only used it handful of times. It's worth looking into. If you're like me, and like to keep the amount of installed software at a minimum.
