One of the programs on your computer has a piece of coding that is conflicting with NIS. We've been doing our 2016-2017 NIS upgrades today to computers with different configurations. Eighteen done so far with no problems.

I have been through w10 upgrades, Norton upgrades, changed to Chrome, installed new programs, etc and still no errors. You have to wonder what is on the computers that keep getting this errror.

I get this error once every two weeks or so. It quickly fixes itself. I think it has to do with an error in updating.
Norton has a thing called Silent Mode, but you have to select a small amount of time in which it will work so I'm not going to mess with it.

I was wondering if Silent Mode stops error messages, or just other notifications?

Also, message to Norton: that message shouldn't appear in the middle, blotting out everything. It should appear in a corner.
