Google glass, Though not even released yet is causing controversy over possible violations of privacy laws as it can record without others knowledge and constantly gathers data about the surroundings. I think the below article has a lot of merit in it's opinions. What do those who are tech savvy think about it?

3 New Ways Google Glass Invades Your Privacy

I think there is cause for concern personally regarding privacy, And the uses directed toward things that are not good. In the age of terrorism this can be a concern as well.

I was thinking the same thing. Tried a keyword search but nothing turned up right away. Maybe it can be moved or merged properly.

I think its spying/intrusive garbage for the elite and I WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANYONE WHO WEARS THIS GARBAGE!

Spying intrusive garbage? Really? For the elite?
I can already whip out my phone and record you. This isn't all that different. And Google has the record light facing AWAY from the wearer so you others know when it is recording.
It's probably going to be $300-$400 when it is released. Hardly "for the elite".

Personally I think it is a "neat" product but there's no way I would get them. I really don't think it is all that much effort to pull my phone out of my pocket to check the weather. Are we really that lazy now?
I don't need little icons in my vision all the time.

Glass doesn't record all the time, anymore than a phone camera records all the time. It's mainly meant for displaying info to the user.

Watch the first 2-3 minutes of Robert Scoble's talk here and understand.

A little matching paint or nail polish will fix that problem. Heh, heh, heh.
