I can still print from IE or Chrome or Safari.

Tried the trouble-shooting steps mentioned by mozilla but the "print.print_printer" thing wasn't in the list it said to open.

Isn't there a better way to fix this?

What about uninstalling ff completely, then reinstalling it?

Sometimes trial and error is faster than analysis.

Already tried that.

Now, after following the step of changing something to LPT1 (?) - I now can't print from ANY browser.

This really sucks.

How is the printer physically connected to PC ??
if USB, then do not use port LPT1, select a USB port.
(LPT1 is the old school, vintage port nobody uses anymore)

Can you print from Word or other apps?
Methinks it's not a browser issue.
