Windows updates just installed Skype on my computer. Called it important. I do not want Skype but I see no place to uninstall it. I did right-click on the desktop icon that it set up and clicked Quit. But did that uninstall it? Do I need to uninstall it as long as I "Quit"? Thank you.

It is uninstalled the same way every other app on your computer is uninstalled, control panel > programs and features, or add/remove programs on XP.

Quit does not = uninstall.

Thank you. I'd never uninstalled a program before. Did try to find that but Win 7 has changed the page from how it was in XP. No matter.

In the Windows 7 default category view it's programs > uninstall a program, even easier to locate.

They did warn me that I'd not be able to make phone calls and a couple of other things that can be done with Skype. Now, that is the biggest blessing of the day - no phone calls. These little black ear rings that everyone wears nowadays are not for me.
