My business uses logmein. I want to access it from home. I saw the password. But, will the admin know Im using my account from home? Also, the admin blocked CMD, C drive, and run. Will they be blocked if I install logmein? Finally, does it completely change windows? Will I be able to uninstall it? I can't from my work computer. Thanks for your help.

First, make sure they're STILL using it. LogMeIn just ended their free service a few days ago.

Will the admin know? Probably, if he pays attention, or if you request permission to access company resources off the clock and from your home computer, which you should do.

Will the blocked stuff still be blocked? Yes.

Does it change Windows? No.

All it (basically) does is give you a remote interface to a PC. You type on your keyboard, letters show up on the remote system. Move the mouse, the mouse moves, etc. The paid version includes remote sound, file transfer and some other features.

Yes, your ip will be logged. The admin is able to see all ip's that have accessed the system.

If you are saying you saw the admin password, you would have admin access if you logged in using it. You will also most likely be terminated once they discover it. It won't change windows, it is just another program you run to remote in to another computer. You will be able to uninstall it on your computer because you have admin access on your own computer whereas you don't at work.
