This isn't good, but not as bad as it could be.

As long as it's only when those tiles have no history, it's not really a big deal (it will only happen on start up when you have less than 9 pages in your history).

With some amount of care, it could even be useful (we know how this generally goes though). If they decided to inject adds into those tiles all the time, that would be a problem.

I start with a blank page, so I don't ever see those tiles.
