what is causing Internet explorer to pop up constantly?. i used 2 different anti-virus/malware to scan and remove infected files and the pop ups don't stop. everytime it pops up. 3 or more tabs of facebook log in page shows.

DELETE internet exploder files in your installed software, then install the Firefox browser, the the Adblock and Noscript addon's.

backup necessary files and format. this is really the only way to get rid of the nastiness usually.

Download and run Rkill to stop the processes from running. Then run Malwarebytes to uninstall the malware. You have to stop it from running and reinstalling itself or it will just keep popping up.
