Default Need HELP with partitioning

I just picked up a brand new Dell computer. It has a 160GB hard drive that I want to partition without reformatting my "C" drive so that XP stays as the OS. I do have Paragon Partition Manager version 8. All I want to to do is make my "C" drive at 20GB and then set up an extended partition so I can make some logical partitions. Is there anyone here that could possibly help me with this please?

If Paragon Partition manager is anything like Partition magic, it should have a wizard that walks you through it. Basically install the product, and run it.

It should show you the current layout, and allow you to make changes. i.e. if you're drive is one large partition right now, I believe you just resize the partition, then add a new partition in the new space created.

I've used partition magic a lot in the past, and never ran into any issues - but you should ALWAYS backup your data.
