There are about 8 pictures on my computer that I can't view or see. When I do click on them, I get a message about my Windows Photo Viewer don't support the format or I don't have the latest updates to the photo viewer. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this problem? Thank you for your time and help.

What is the file suffix?

Have you ever been able to view them?

Have you tried a different program to view them?

Get the latest version of Irfanview at IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

Try opening those 8 pictures with Irfanview. Millions use Irfanview. It's free and supports TONS of image formats.

Good luck.

Yes, I have been able to view them. I believe the file suffix is JPG. Jza recommended for me to try a program called Irfanview and it seems to work. However, there is at least 2 pictures that is too pixelated and can't see the pictures clearly. Luckily, those pictures are not that important to me but, it still would be nice to see them again.
