Why is the dang thing flipping into HP Office Jet Network when it is set for HP Office Jet~? I never changed a dang thing and I am being accused of doing such. It was set via remotely by my computer guy and when I go to print, it is going back into the Network. I keep getting pop ups saying my computer isn't able to communicate with the printer.
You need to go into printer properties and see which box is checked off. Go to printers and right click the printer icon. Click on printer properties and then go to ports tab. A box will have a check mark: What does it say next to it?

He did that remotely, but when I go to file, then print, the other one pops up I didn't do a thing, or change anything. It did it on its own but he doesn't think so and thinks I did something. and his voice raised up as well as mine And when he was trying to access the printer from my lap top, I didn't do what he said and he got upset with me I can't help it It has a small square pad/mouse and when I barely touch it, it does other things such as open up 2 IE...and he tell me I touched it twice. I didn't
If he actually knew anything about his job, he would know the double loads of a browser is a virus from about five years ago. Does the second copy come up with its initial screen or if you attempt to search in a third screen a different search program pops ups?
If you want a system just for web browsing and nothing else, buy a Chromebook as it will never get a virus.
If you have a need to start a anti-Chromebook thread then go for it. This is not the place for it nor is your hijack of the topic welcome.
If you feel the need to suggest people dump what ever hardware they have and buy a chromebook all the time, which doesn't help the OP in the least bit, then it most certainly is the place for it

I personally know the OP and the response was based on other threads plus DM's. So again if you have a need to start a anti-Chromebook thread then go for it. This is not the place for it.

The OP was obviously dealing with somebody providing tech support and would not have the option to buy a Chromebook, which is just as non-productive as telling him/her to buy a Mac or run Linux.
OP, if you need to start another thread, please provide every detail you can think of, such as the operating system you are running, the printer model number, etc.
Sorry your thread degenerated into such a problem.
