I feel exactly the same way about this.

People often look at me weird when I say the web looked better in 2006. I, for one, do not care about mobile devices whatsoever. Both Ebay and Paypal's recent redesigns are atrocious. Same thing for Office 365. Microsoft wants us to keep paying them instead of buying their product once and being done with it. My mother's law office still uses Windows 98 with Office 97 and it works just fine for them. The only reason I use 365 is because the community college I go to gives it to you for free. And one of their pushes for it is that you can use it on your mobile device. I could not fathom writing a 10 page paper on an iPhone or Ipad, even with one of those keyboards.

I think the new Paypal site is gorgeous and works just fine.
I am not a power seller, however.
It works just fine in IE, too.

Let me guess: you're using Windows XP, aren't you?
And IE 8.0. This is why Ebay won't help you.
It's time to upgrade to at least Windows7.

I, too, like the new PayPal site. They changed some of the wording on actions that make it confusing at first. For example, the confirmation on the transfer to bank option says "withdraw" on the button. But after a few times of using it, it's working well for me.

Better than what? Chrome is a web browser, iGoogle was a web page, two different things.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and Google chrome. It's not that I don't think it's gorgeous, I just don't like change and believe in the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" . Paypal does provide a link back to the old site, but it's annoying to have to click every time I log into paypal.

I was talking to the OP. He said IE won't work. It won't work because it's the XP version of IE which will no longer be supported soon.

Many sites have already stopped supporting it.

I've gotten used to Windows 8.1 and its Hipsterish feel.

Now if they can do something about the bugginess of HTML5 coding and HTML5 player.......it is always crashing on me.
