I'm not a full-blown keyboard geek, so I'm not quite following you. I've seen the term(s) before (cherry, mx, various colors, etc), but I can't say that I know the differences between any of them, and honestly, I don't want to. I just want a decently built keyboard with good tactile response that doesn't sound like a freight train while I'm typing. Which leads me to my next post...

I ordered a Matias Quiet Pro to check out. It's well reviewed, and is supposed to be pretty quiet for a mechanical kb. Kind of pricey, but a good keyboard is worth it IMO.
The keyboard FINALLY came this morning. I got it installed and have been using it for a couple of hours now, and WOW. This thing's great. I'm not fully adjusted to it yet, and I'm already typing about as fast as I do on my IBM keyboard. When I'm writing something longer, it really gets going.

It's only been a couple of hours, but so far, I can't see any reason that I wouldn't recommend this keyboard, other than the price.

What do you think of it now that you've been using it for several months?

I picked up the Tex Yoda with green mx switches. I haven't received it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

1. No link to an order page on your linked page.

2. Does it come white with black letters? I can't see white on black fer crap.

Do you know whether this comes without painted keys? It's so distracting. I like that the HHK you linked to in the OP does not have the letters painted on the keys.

If you're referring to the Tex Yoda, the only place I've seen them for sale so far is on Mass Drop. The price was $199 for the base model unassembled.

Tex has white keyboards, but I don't know whether this particular one is available in white. Unfortunately, it's not available without letters on it. They use standard MX keycaps so you can get ones without letters printed on them in order to be distraction-free.

It does not, to my knowledge.

I linked to this in the OP. Third keyboard on the list. It's a great beginner keyboard. Solidly built.
