I have trouble sign into some secure sites. When I go to careerbuilder.com I can browse but when I want to sign in this is the message I get:

The connection was interrupted

The connection to Job Search, Employment and Careers at Careerbuilder.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Note that I can sign into mycarreerbuilder on my tablet. I have windows xp. Any help would be appreciated.

Just went to the site, clicked on sign in and it brought me to the sign in options page.

~ Have you tried a different web browser? Will assume you are using IE (probably older version), might be your security zone settings.

This should get you in the right direction:

Change Internet Explorer 9 Security settings

~ Do you have extensions like Adblock/Adblock Plus, Ghostry, Scriptblock? If so temporarily disable them and attempt login.

It was the parental controls that blocked it, I never had problem with it before but thank you for your responses.
