Is it true places like Bestbuy or Officemax have zero Windows 7 computers?
It looks that way to me on their websites. But that's a nightmare for people who hate Windows 8.

This must be why the sales of desktop PCs declined in the past two years.

I think it's appalling that we can't buy a Windows 7 computer in those places.

What if you really wanted to buy a new computer with Windows 7? What would you do?

I would buy a computer and format the hard drive, and load W7 onto it.

MSFT took their hit on W8 and brought out W8.1, and even is accelerating W10.
You really cannot expect them to coddle hysteria forever.

The party ended on Halloween of last year.

Microsoft sets Oct. 31 as stop date for Windows 7 consumer PC sales | Computerworld

Windows 10 looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to it.

Staples.com still lists windows 7 computers on some of the ads, I bought an Asus a few months ago with 7 in it.

Thank you, I wonder why Staples still has them whereas the others don't.
