my dv8130us hasn't had any problems with wireless. My dvd drive died within a month, but HP was nice and easy to work with on that, they sent a new drive, I sent the old back and they took care of all shipping costs.
My LCD had problems about 2 weeks after the manufacturer warranty expired... but I had purchased the fry's extended warranty. Lived without a laptop for a bit, then went in and got a loaner from them for free... took them time because their techs were incompetent... they didn't seem to understand the fact that I had already DONE testing on it, and had determined it to be a video card or LCD problem, and it was to the point where they could start swapping components.
Beyond that, no real problems with my HP, or HP Customer Care. But heres my tip...
USE THEIR WEBCHAT. Don't call. Its easier to explain your problem, and you can read what they type, which is usually just cut and pasted from a script anyway, rather than try to figure out that when Im hearing 'trouble' the rep is trying to say 'bravo'.
