I am trying to convert some webpages to PDF for all-time viewing. The issue is, every PDF converter I try online makes an absolute jumbled mess of the page. Many of the pages really aren't that "busy" per se, even so, the converters make such a mess of them.

What is a good site for converting from webpage (HTML) to PDF file?

Have you tried a PDF printer such as Cute PDF or Nitro?

Just tried Bullzip on this page as a page print. Looks normal except the colored screens are gone.

I've been using CutePDF for years to save web pages. It works fine and it's free.

Just use the "print to PDF" feature that's built into Google Chrome.

I have found that some webpages just won't print decently.
My solution is to select the contents and paste into Word or Pages.
Make it pretty and then print the PDF.

Not sure if you're just looking to print/save normal webpages to PDF, but Chrome does it by default.
