Does anyone know where I can get a download (free or paid I don't care) for Yosemite? Now that El Capitan is out, Apple has yanked the Yosemite download option.

To install QuickBooks Mac 2015, I need Yosemite as too many users are reporting errors on El Capitan and Intuit is refusing to say when it the two will be compatible.

Check out this thread at Apple support.

I just tried the suggestion re App Store "Purchases" and it gave me this message:
"A newer version of OS X is already installed on this computer. Are you sure you want to download OS X 10.10?"

Good luck.......

Thanks, but it's pretty much what I'd already discovered.

I don't know who I'm more angry with right now. Apple, for being so obnoxious and patronizing in not selling the prior upgrade, or Intuit for being so damn far behind the Mac development curve.

At least I have a PC workaround for the issue, if all else fails. Ha! Take that, Apple.

Honestly, Intuit. El Capitan was released to developers and beta users for several month before the actual release. That gives developers time to get their products ready and usable for their customers. I am not a huge fan on Intuit's products.
