I had a friend in the 80s who had a TRS-80 (He called it TRASH 80)

Is it a good computer?? -- I doubt they are trash!! (Hardily anything from the 80s was)

I worked on a Trash-80 for years. No, it's not a good computer. It had 6 - SIX! - visible lines of LCD type, the kind on a calculator. It was so hard to write...
There were tons of versions, but this is one that I used.

I had my VIC 20 until I moved from the east coast to the southwest a decade ago. Had to cull the non necessities. My 2001 Sony laptop just went belly up last year. That was the last computer I bought that came with a floppy drive. Currently I have several computers that are between 2009 and 2011. I get the hand-me-downs in my family because I'm not fussy. My computers are always old. But I have a lot of them. Networking makes them practical.
