Hi Everyone. I have been checking and trying to block those MS updates for win 7 which sneak win 10 files into your system. I would like to check backwards. I am not sure how to search to see if a specific update (with the KB#) has been installed. I did go to the win update screen. In what looks like a search box at the upper right, I typed in the #. There was no room for the KB. Is this the correct way to search for an update in Win 7? I had expected to find something but didn't.
Thanks.

When you open up the "Programs and Features" window look on the lower left for "Installed Updates". You can then sort by name, date etc.

Start-all programs-click windows update. On windows update page, bottom left, click 'installed updates'. Wait for loading, scroll to 'windows'.
Any updates you delete will re-appear in the next list of updates from MS. If you don't want it installed. Right click and 'hide'. But even in 'hide', some win 10 stuff may re-appear anyway.

Thanks, I did not know that the updates would keep coming back. I figured that I could get them if I wanted to, but....
I appreciate your help.
