Okay so I am in the market for a laptop-tablet hybrid and though I have been doing my own research and looking around on the internet and at electronic stores I felt it can't hurt to have opinions from as many different mediums as possible. So I want to pick your brains, here your thoughts, opinions etc. My current Dell laptop (which I am making this post from as we speak) has been a soldier and riding with me for almost 10 years and for that reason, I love my laptop. It's really about time I get an upgrade though since my current laptop is outdated and besides being outdated, it's pretty heavy and bulky, overheats a lot and it doesn't function at all without the charger since the battery died. Oh, and it's still using Windows Vista

I've been able to juice as much as I can out of this laptop and it's served more than it's purpose but it's life is hanging by a thread and I need to move on. So anyone that's knows of or has their own laptop-tablet, please let me know what you have and what you think.

I am looking for a laptop-tablet hybrid that's:

-Thin, lightweight
-That has a good processor, ram and all that
-Windows or anything other than MAC (Mac is too expensive)
-Affordable (willing to spend a good amount if it's really worth the price and investment)

I also plan on doing some more work on my new device (writing, some video, music, possibly make an app so anything that is capable of doing that stuff).

Thanks again and please let me know what you guys think and/or would recommend.

Stick with the Dell:

Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1 | Dell

Get the more expensive one with the i3 processor.

If you want something a little more high end go with the Lenovo Yoga 15" 710 series.

Yoga 700 Series | Premium 2-in-1 Laptops*| Lenovo US

Personally I would spend a bit more on the Lenovo. The Yoga line is getting great reviews...
