Windows and Office continue to be impacted by software piracy, but at the same time, Microsoft goes on with its fight against those who illegally activate its products, and the company has this time tracked down someone who did this with no less than 1,000 copies of the operating system and the productivity suite. I totally agree and have joined a group that is doing precisely that. Reading MikeySoft's Eula is enough to make a person sick. Plus, if you turn off all the spy items, they will silently turn them back on and hope you don't notice.

There's no situation that makes pirating Microsoft Windows okay.

If you like the software, purchase a license to use it.

If you don't like the software, use one of the thousands of other alternatives.

Microsoft is filling lawsuits because their rights have been violated. If you feel your rights have been violated by then, you should do the same.

But don't fall down to a piece of scum who violates constitutional rights.

Yes, and in fact, if you bothered to read the terms of service, they have disclosed their collection of data and how they use it, and you agreed to it. Also, you have agreed to binding arbitration and not to sue them in case of a dispute.

Agreed. Seriously, Dude111, now you're on the side of Software pirates?
You act as if MS owes YOU an operating system. One that should work how YOU think it should.
You have choices. Don't like Microsoft? Quit whining already, and move on to Linux. You aren't a gamer. Linux would be perfect for you. You could have something more up to date and secure and not have to live in MS's world.

It's always great not be sued.... but that doesn't mean they should allow someone to break the law and use software they have not purchased...
