We just got a forced update of windows 10 on our PC and now we have the dreaded blue screen with the error message DRIVE_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I did some research and found out that it seems the update corrupts the wireless driver. I uninstalled it and the computer will work for a little while and then suddenly goes back to the blue screen. When I check again, the wireless driver is reinstalled even though I did not install it. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks.

Win 10 forced? There have been many threads on how to avoid having win 10 installed, starting with deleting GWX.exe hiding kb3035583 and its associated updates.

Try DISABLING it instead of Uninstalling it.

Yeah Uninstalling the driver will just prompt it to reinstall in the background. Is your wireless card built into the motherboard or is it an adapter or PCI card?

I have a dell. 780 w 7. No way to get 10 in !! Anyhow I was up instructed to turn on an off 3 times, it then gives you a repair screen. I was able to recover my 7 and all my saved stuff. Now the problem is--- the banks all switching to 10 and will not support 7 8 vista etc!! I thought was my bank and hear others doing the same-- so it is force upgrade like it or not!
