A couple of nights ago Windows 10 did an update, which I had read was coming.

After the update I turned the computer on and got a green screen and the warning: "System thread exception not handled". Then "Norton Autofix: SONAR Definition "Success". But then "Error Found 3030 65559".

3 different suggestions popped up about "you could try this", and what seemed to work was the "you could try this" that went back to an earlier configuration of Windows. A couple of APPs which I had deleted reappeared, but everything else seems fine.

Yesterday, everything worked fine.

Last night Windows updated again. I held my breath when I turned on the computer this morning, but all seems well and my computer says that I am up to date with Windows 10 updates.

Do I just assume the crisis is over? Or is there something else I should do?

Sounds like a Norton problem that fixed itself. I've had many a boot error over the years. All fixed themselves with another boot. You might want to do some system diagnostics, especially a memory test and a disk scan, though.
