Wow, I had seen that side task bar in Windows but used the ribbons above.
I will check it out with the shift+f1 because I really miss "reveal codes" from the "old days".

I posted mainly because I didn't notice that anyone had mentioned reveal codes, which is what I've called them forever, it seems.

Thank you! I've worked with Word since 1986, but I hadn't seen that one. I agree that the settings options are myriad.
