Thunderbird has a nice thing. In the Inbox, at the top where all the mail is listed, you can highlight a letter that you want to save temporarily. Then, right click, scroll to Tags and select a color for special highlights on what you selected: Red for Important; Green for Personal, etc. It colors the letter's heading so you won't accidentally delete it before you are ready to do so.

Does any know if Gmail has the same thing? A friend told me to use Labels but that isn't doing it. Must be something else - if they even have such. I know they have the stars but those are so small that I do not pick up on them in yellow, which is their color.

Thank you.
