I think they are just more often then not unaware of Defender. One of the few products MS doesn't hit you over the head with. Like when you switch to Firefox: "Are you SURE you don't want to try Edge? It's awesome!".
Nope. Install Mcaffee.... not a peep about Defender.

Probably because they do not see an antivirus program as something they can use to gain revenue. There is a lot of money in getting people to use Edge and click on ads they see on Bing search results. There are a lot of people that do not know how, or never take the initiative, when it comes to using different search engines. We already know that they are using Windows 10 S to that end, by not allowing anyone to change the default unless they upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, which is something else the average user is not going to take the time out to do either.

Check your NETWORK DISCOVERY. . . Many are learning that the Creator's Update wrecks network discovery, so you can't map network drives.
The update doesn't affect already mapped drives. But if you ever disconnect them, you will not be able to re-connect them.

This bug apparently has been around since APRIL, which does not bode well for the user.

GNU/Linux Review: Kubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus
If I can use WINE and VirtualBox to run the few Windoze applications I can't find replacements for, I'm dumping Win10.
