I saw this first Youtube video of a robot "citizen" in Saudi Arabia -- either it's really incredible technology or it was a canned show because the guy asking questions had a paper list. Anyway, the robot was made in China - Hong Kong, I guess... I guess that's where it'd come from anyway because I heard the Japanese get realistic sex toy dolls from China anyway!!!

It's really incredible robot technology to have A.I., visual data processing, and facial recognition.

The robot still has a limit to think on predefined topics, though... -- A.I. thinking that's NOT better than a human!

Well, it's coming ... The age of Robots and A.I., I guess ...

Yes, ive seen this before, there is another one where the robot looks like an older white guy, has a salt and pepper beard, and he looks just like a human.

I also saw there is a a company starting to make sex robots and these things look just like a real human female, its amazing, I will try to find that link, it is graphic, but it shows where the technology is and what they can now do.

They have the body and skin down, but the computer technology/ brain is not quite there yet, we are still 5-10 yrs away from having bipedal humanoid robots walking around and acting like they do in sci fi movies, AI technology needs to progress a little bit more, but its very close.

I just read an article that claims 1/4 of those polled would trade their spouse for a robot that is capable of showing "romantic feelings", while also being girlfriend or wife.People between 18-35 will accept the technology as normal soon.

It isn't the robots that scare me, it's the human race that's creating them. In 20 years will the female robots be able to have babies that are half human, half robot?

I don't know how to discuss this topic rationally while keeping a sane mind.
