My LED mouse did not like the wood grain of the keyboard shelf. I ended up drawing an Excel spreadsheet with tiny grids, and then putting it under a clear plastic cover. The whole thing is taped to the keyboard shelf.
The people who think nobody uses computers anymore are funny.
We have two razer mice that work much better with a mouse pad. And I paid $14 for a really nice mouse pad that is not disintegrating or getting filthy as they tend to do because the material is different. I recently had to purchase a new mouse pad because they one I had that came with my LAST PC (7-8 years ago) started to wear out. I paid 7 dollars for a mouse pad! and that was the cheapest of the options I had.
I remember when you bought a pizza they'd give you a free mouse pad, I remember stores gave out free pads, businesses gave away free mouse pads.
I'm shocked because I didn't know mouse pads cost that much, I thought at best a fantasy pad would have been about 2 bucks.
And I'm talking about I paid 7 dollars for a regular flat mouse pad.
That's about the cost for them at our local goodwill. Many are brand new still in package. They constantly have an overflow of these
