That's what I get:

You might need to clean your computer.

HOWEVER - it looks like the feature recently announced here:
https://www.blog.google/topics/small...rvices-google/
https://support.google.com/localserv...219881799&rd=1

It appears to be limited to certain areas in the US, and its connected to your location. Disconnect your location, and it will disappear.

Good news if you use Chrome:

So Google, through Chrome, is blocking ads from others while adding ads on their own site. LOL!!

The first time I see what the OP does my location will be denied to them and anyone else necessary to stop those ads. I allow so few now that it will be simple for me.

Not setting a location or disallowing a location is not going to prevent them from knowing your general location unless you are on VPN, proxy, satellite etc. Geo location by IP is fairly accurate in most cases especially for a bohemoth like Google.

Google always thinks I'm two towns over, which I kinda guess is a good thing.

While on the subject a web site knowing you location can be a pretty good feature. Let's say you go to a realty site, they could display houses in your vicinity and even provide the mapping to get there.
