so i google "toilet tank leaking"
instead of google showing its sponsored sites at the top only,
i'm now being redirected to where the whole page only shows sponsored local services..

i'm only interested with DIY but i cant find those websites because the whole page only shows contractors and their phone numbers..

i tried this with chrome, firefox and edge so it can't be virus but google itself doing this..

LOL! I got an ad for roto-rooter in Laredo TX. That might be a bit of a drive for them.

I'm guessing it gloms on to your location to serve the ads. Just for grins, I tried searching for

toilet leaking -ads

I don't know if will work for you, but it did take out the one ad I saw.

You need to scan with Malwarebytes. I had not seen this redirect thing in a long time. It looks like malware/adware to me.

It knows my location and showed one ad for my zip code. That was the only one. I think the OP has a problem other than Google.
