I usually use Chrome (Windows 7) for 1-2 hours and then look at the history, so I can clear it.

I've had some incidents where I would do this and only the most recent 2-3 items would be in the history! I didn't change the settings or do anything unusual. Why would that happen?

Just now, it happened again. There were 2-3 things in the history but there should have been at least 30. I went to some sites and looked at the history again. Suddenly, the whole history from the past hours were there!

Why would that happen??

File access problem at their end. Probably just takes longer to get the info retrieved.

I've had a ton of problems with Chrome on Windows 10. I switched to FireFox. Troubles have ended.
