Not sure what changed but I used to be able to scroll a page with the little wheel on the mouse, that is no longer possible as now when I roll that wheel instead of going up and down it scrolls sideways to the last page I was on, continued turning of the wheel goes to all the previous pages I was on, now to scroll up and down I have to use the cursor and slide the bar on the side. What setting have I mistakenly activated?

Thanks

Probably the mouse has problems with mechanical system. If it is so you can try to clean the devise (Don't forget to turn it off before!) or to buy a new one.
Maybe there are some problems with drivers (this is unlikely).

Another windows 10 issue,
you can download Chrome again but maybe it is still there,
Here's how to change your default browser in Windows 10.
Navigate to Settings. You can get there from the Start menu.
2.Select System.
Click Default apps in the left pane.
Click Microsoft Edge under the "Web browser" heading. ...
Select the new browser (ex: Chrome) in the menu that pops up.

if not maybe download it

For a while Microsoft was sending notices that said, "Did you know Microsoft Edge is xx% faster than Chrome?"

Now it's given that up and is sending notices that say, "Did you know Chrome use xx% more battery life than Microsoft Edge?"

Whether either is true I don't know but haven't decided to test them by switching from Chrome.
